What
operating systems are supported by Woodturner
PRO?
All versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 are supported in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Windows 95 and 98 are not supported.
Will
the software run on an Apple Macintosh?
If you have a Macintosh with OS 10.5, your computer ships with 'Boot Camp' which allows you to create multiple bootable partitions. You can create a partition and install either Windows Vista or Windows XP which will allow you to install our software as if you were installing it on a PC.
You can also install a Windows emulator such as Parallels or Virtual PC which will allow you to run our software under Windows emulation. There is no current plans to release native Macintosh versions of our software. This is the most common way to install the software on a Macintosh and is the recommended solution from Woodturner PRO.
What
are the minimum hardware requirements to run the
software?
A
personal computer with 256 MB ram, 100MB free hard
disk capacity and a 1GHz processor are required.
How
large is the downloadable setup file?
The
installation files are 3 - 10MB in size. Obviously, this will take
a substantial amount of time with a dialup connection.
The Purchase Page will allow you to purchase the software and have it delivered anywhere in the world on a CD..
Can
I install a new version of Woodturner PRO over
an older version?
Version 2.x is now installed using a new installation package. Because of this, it is first necessary for you to manually uninstall any Version 1.x software before installing the new version. If you are upgrading an existing 2.x version, the new installation will upgrade the existing software.

Can
I run multiple instances of the software?
You
can run multiple instances of the software and
each instance will operate fully and independently
from other instances but you should not attempt
to save the same project from two different software
instances.
