3D Design PRO is our 3D design tool that lets you simply create a wall profile in 2D and visualize your woodturning in realtime a rendering of the vessel in 3D. You can start from scratch or open one of over 100 sample wood turning drawings that we've included in many different categories. 3D Design PRO is for all woodturners, not just segmented turners. Woodturner PRO allows you to add rings to your segmented bowl designs. Flat rings, compound rings, staves and veneer rings can all be added to your wood turningwith a single mouse click. You decide how many segments there are to a ring and use arrow keys to identify the inside and outside diameters. All trigonometric formulas are calculated instantly in realtime. You can print out a cutting summary to take to the shop that will show you how to make all the segmented rings for your bowl or vessel.
And our newest piece of software, Lamination PRO, helps you design and construct feature rings for your segmented bowls or vessels from laminations. Whether you make a simple first generation chevron pattern or an amazing third generation pattern, the software will allow you to see exactly what it will look like before ever going to the shop. Woodturner PRO is pleased to offer projects from some of the top turners of segmented vessels in the world. A project constists of photos, plans and 15 - 20 pages of instructions showing every stage of the construction process. The projects range from beginner to advanced and are all priced at less than $10. Some projects are free downloads.
